AD ~ This is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own.
Do you miss your weekly nail appointments? It might be a great idea to try nail polish strips. I have been testing out Maniko Nails nail polish strips and let me tell you now, they are a game changer.
If you are anything like me, a little clumsy and get impatient waiting for regular nail polish to dry, constantly smudging them whilst waiting ? nail polish strips are definitely the way forward for you.

I can tell what you are thinking? Are these the nail decals/stickers you find in high street shops with badly printed designs? NO, absolutely not, Maniko nail polish strips are made of actual nail polish… real life polish. They have some beautiful shades and designs available, the ombre range is one of my personal favourites.
I just want to add that the Maniko nail polish strips are both vegan and cruelty free, pregnancy safe and they always offer 100% happiness guarantee for a full 45 days after delivery if for any reason you are not happy with them (I can assure you, you will love them though!)
how to apply
See how easy it is to apply the Maniko nail polish strips in these 5 simple steps below;
STEP 1: First begin to prep the nails by filing, shaping and pushing back your cuticles – doing this prevents the nail polish strips sticking to your skin and gets the best out of your at home manicure. Apply a little of the Maniko Nail Polish Remover if you need to get rid of any residue around the edges, it is always best to start with a completely clean, smooth base.
STEP 2: Apply the Base Coat to each nail to create an even surface, this will adds extra grip for your nail polish strips, so they can last even longer.
The base coat is enriched with beautiful ingredients including Biotin, Keratin, Vitamin E and Calcium for strong nails, this nurtures your nails to promote healthy growth.
STEP 3: Carefully size up and pick out the appropriate nail polish strip for your nails, gently peel off them off and place onto your nail.
When the strip is secured to your nail, gently smooth out the surface, so you have it flush to your nail and no air bubble. Each strip can be used for 2 nails – which I think is amazing! Double the nail goodness!
STEP 4: Trim the end of the nail polish strips and fold the excess under your nail tip; using the Maniko Glass Nail File, gently file under the nail to remove any excess nail polish. Doing this not only keeps your manicure looking fresh it avoid any catches on the polish.
STEP 5: Apply a the glossy Top Coat to seal your nails, this provides a beautiful professional a glossy finish and keeps your nails looking fabulous.
There are absolutely zero smudges, zero streaks, no drying time, no chipping. I can confirm that the polish stays looking beautifully glossy, vibrant and opaque whilst providing a professional salon look for up to ten days.
the finished product
This my friends, is a Maniko nail polish strip and it only took about seven minutes total from start to finish.
Look how amazing they look, you wouldn’t be able to tell they weren’t salon nails right? They don’t look like your regular stick on nails decals, they look classy, high quality and and like you have just visited the nail salon.

removal
When you have decided you want to change your nail polish strips you can use Sashay Away – which is a No Acetone Nail Polish Remover – this remover is extremely gentle on both your hands and nails, it does not dry them out and removes the polish quickly and easily.
Due to no acetone there is no chemical scent, which is what I hate about regular nail polish remover, so i really appreciate this being part of the manicure kit.
(you can use regular nail polish too if you wish) try not to peel them off, as this will damage your nail underneath.

Beautiful 😍
Lush aren’t they!
These sounds amazing, great for when you don’t want to go to a nail bar and get them done. It’s also amazing they are vegan too x
They are so lush, they looks so professional too!
These look absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe that they’ve been done at home.
Certainly sound easy enough to apply as well. I love painted nails. I might have to drop Christmas gift hints at my partner!
They are so easy to use and last ages too, which I love, as I’m so bad with chipping nails instantly. They have some new shades in now, which are so cute!
