Glazed Skin with MCoBeauty Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner

Finally, I get to review MCoBeauty on my blog. I’ve been waiting for a while to review this brand as they have been popping up all over social media at the moment and i wanted to gather my thoughts on the products. Well specifically the Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner.

They have been around for quite a long time, but they have only just recently launched in the UK and they’ve kind of blown up.

So, if you haven’t heard about MCoBeauty, they are an Australian brand that provide affordable alternatives, “dupes” of high-end luxury products. And I’ve tried quite a few of their products now and, to be completely honest, I don’t see a difference between the high-end products and these products, of the ones that I’ve tried specifically.

There’s quite a lot of Charlotte Tilbury products that have been “duped” by them and, obviously, Charlotte Tilbury aren’t cruelty-free anymore and MCoBeauty are, so big tick for them.

They do have quite a lot of products, to be honest. They have setting sprays, powders, mascaras, lip glosses, glow boosters – anything you can think of – and they’re constantly releasing new products as well.

And they’ve just released a brand-new product, which is the All Dayer Setting Spray, which is, as you can probably guess, the closest dupe to it is like Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Sprat. So, they’ve actually taken over the original formulation with Skindinavia, which I believe made the original All Nighter Setting Spray with Urban Decay! TEA!!! 🫖

But anyway,…… I chill with my waffling. The point of this post is to review their Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner, which is clearly an affordable version of the rhode Glazing Milk Ceramide Facial Essence. We love to see it!

The packaging does look kind of similar. I really do enjoy the packaging rhode products and haven’t actually tried the rhode one (I know, I definitely need to!) so I’ve got nothing to actually compare this to. But looking at the ingredients, they do look very similar and, seeing videos on social media, I can tell the formula looks very similar – very milky, very glowy – and I absolutely love this.

I love using a milky toner in my skincare routine, as I love the look othat it gives your skin. Really glowy and really hydrating as well.

So, you can also mix this in with some foundation to make your foundation more glowy, which I think is a great sort of summer hack if you want to lighten up your foundation in your base a little bit.

And just going back to the packaging again, I really love the chic, sort of clean-girl, minimalistic packaging of this, which is very rhode-coded as well.

MCoBeauty Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner Ingredients

The MCoBeauty Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner contains water, emollients like C12-15 alkyl benzoate and glycerin, panthenol, soothing allantoin, a mineral blend of magnesium, zinc, and copper, multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, and a barrier-supporting complex of ceramides (NP, NG, AP, EOP).

MCoBeauty vs rhode Glazing Milk

The MCoBeauty Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner contains some very similar ingredients to the rhode Glazing Milk Ceramide Facial Essence.

Both contain glycerin, multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and a mineral blend of magnesium, zinc, and copper.

MCoBeauty contains ceramides NP, NG, AP and EOP, while rhode Glazing Milk contains ceramides NP, AP and EOP.

I haven’t actually tried the rhode one, so I can’t personally compare the two, but looking at the ingredients, they do look very similar.

I do have quite a few now and I’ve got a bit of a collection, and I’ll see if I do have any of the high-end versions to sort of compare them with.

But overall, everything I’ve tried from them has been amazing. My favourite so far has always been this Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner, which I think is absolutely fantastic.

It’s super affordable, it’s cruelty-free and vegan, and I think you can get them on TikTok Shop, Superdrug and on their UK website as well.
