It’s black cherry blush season, and we know where that is. It’s autumn – one of my favourite seasons of the year, well, actually, my genuine favourite time of year.
I just love everything about autumn. Crisp, super crispy leaves, the trees turning… it’s just so cosy. Literally, pass me the pumpkin spice latte – and yes, I am that basic girl.

my favourite autumn makeup shades
So when I think about autumn and I think about the kind of makeup I wanna be wearing, it’s always very warm-toned, I think. Oranges, browns, terracottas, burgundies and dark cherry sort of shades that make you feel really warm and cosy and warm up your face as well.
Because obviously, in these months when I don’t tan and I’m actually quite pale, anything warm-toned is instantly gonna warm up my skin and make me look a little bit more alive and not like I’m an extra in Twilight.

kash beauty soft suede blush in cherry rouge
I recently discovered this brand. It’s called Kash Beauty and it was created by makeup artist Keilidh Cashell, and everything that she has been dropping in has been gorgeous.
I’ve tried a lip oil, skin tint, lip stain and now this blusher. It’s one of the Soft Suede Blushes, and this is in the shade Cherry Rouge, which is a really gorgeous deep cherry, oxblood-meets-burgundy shade, which is absolutely stunning and it’s so perfect for autumn.
It looks a bit intimidating in the pan, but when you apply it to the skin, it’s looks really soft-focus and it gives the skin a really nice warm glow.

It’s a cream-to-powder texture, which is one of my favourite formulas, it’s very pillowy and soft and is really easy to apply – it’s foolproof to apply. You can apply this with a brush or you can apply it with your fingers, and to be honest, I feel like this would make a really gorgeous eyeshadow as well for a little monochromatic moment.

what’s your favourite autumn makeup?
What’s your favourite makeup to wear during autumn? And do you whip out any favourites in autumn? Are you like a repeat makeup wearer? Let me know in the comments.
Have you tried or thinking of trying Kash Beauty? Because I feel like they’re going to blow up at some point. Their aesthetic is really chic and minimal, and the products that they’re releasing are absolutely gorgeous.
