When an email from Coloured Raine dropped in my inbox, I literally, no joke jumped out my bed and shed a few tears, I did some digging as I didn’t even think it was legit. But I got an email from Coloured Raine asking if I wanted to review some of their products…. yes ma’am!
Thinking back I did start to recall responding to a tweet from Coloured Raine reaching out for bloggers as they wanted to support us bloggers, which I think is absolutely bloody amazing! Not many big brands reach out in such a way, and although I see alot reaching out to MUA’s not so many for bloggers. So I was shook when that email arrived.
If you have never heard of Coloured Raine before, they are an American black owned indie company. They sell a variety of makeup products including lashes, lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and single shadows. You can buy their products via Beauty Bay in the UK. Whats even better all of their products are cruelty free and some are vegan (will be stated on their site).
Fast forward a few weeks and my glorious parcel arrived in the post. Having tried a few Coloured Raine products in the past, I knew that they were high quality and it is damn good makeup!

In my very generous blogger package I received the iconic Queen of Hearts palette, some flirty fluttering lashes in the style CR32 – they are so wispy and cute, also 3 matte lips paints Nude, Mars and Roulette and 1 lip lacquer Cherry Blossom, which is more of a glossy finish, which I am 100% here for at the moment! I love that they have sent a mix of really wearable shades, aswell as a daring red/pink and dark purple.
The liquid lipsticks are cruelty-free, vegan, made in the USA under fair wages, and FDA approved. They are non drying and full pigment in one swipe! To remove you will need an oil based cleanser as these boys do not budge. (No staining though)

The Queen on Hearts palette is STUNNING! so many gorgeous shades and so easy to create an everyday and glam look with. The palette contains twelve shades and has a mix of warm neutrals and gleaming jewel tones in a variety of flawless finishes. The palettes also comes with a great size mirror, so would also be perfect for travelling.
The shadows are SO soft, creamy and pigmented. The shimmer shades are out of this world and I can see myself creating some lush looks with this over the summer, even just a wash of transition and shimmer over the lid. Perfection! And to top it off lashings of a nude lip lacquer for the perfect easy summer look.

Overall this palette is absolutly stunning and you can create endless looks with the shades. The quality of the shadows are top notch and they so easy to work with, so it will be easy for anyone to use this palette from beginners to professionals.
