AD ~ This is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own.
I have something really interesting to share with you guys. I have recently added Omega 3 supplements from Vegums to my daily routine… what is Omega 3 you say? Well I thought exactly the same. Let me enlighten you on the benefits of taking Vegums Zero Waste, Vegan Omega 3 For Hair & Skin.

about omega 3
Omega 3 fatty acids are essential nutrients found in certain foods. what they do is help to regulate skin’s oil production, improve hydration, help with breakouts and minimise wrinkles and signs of aging. Omega 3 can also help soften dry skin and have a soothing effect on irritation, dermatitis and eczema.
Vegums vegan friendly Omega 3 supplements are made from natural ingredients and colours, are vegan, cruelty free and come in great tasting flavours, like orange for example. The supplements contain an incredible amount of DHA, 80mg – which is amazing for pretty much your whole body, it is especially important throughout childhood.
If you have a family, it is definitely a great idea to offer these tasty gummy supplements daily to your kids, not only do they taste great, but will help with development.

6 benefits for skin and hair
- Protect against sun damage – regular use can reduce the skin’s sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) rays – always wear an spf daily, as sun rays are extremely dangerous for our skin
- Helps to reduce acne – Omega 3 has been shown to reduce inflammation and there has been reported decreases in acne lesions and sensitivity whilst using in conjunction with other products
- Nourishes hair follicles – this is great for boosting hair growth and reducing the effects of hair loss and easing flaky scalps, it also helps keep hair looking lush, healthy and shiny
- Strengthen nails – fatty acid cells help to take care of the nail beds, whilst encouraging nutrients to absorb, which results in stronger, healthier and harder nails
- Eases dry, itchy or red skin – this is one point I am really interest in, as I suffer with dry skin and eczema how this works is that Omega 3 improves skin barrier, which helps to seal in moisture and keeping out irritants
- DHA from Omega 3 can help to reduce bad cholesterol, therefore reducing the risk of stroke and heart disease.

There are a huge amount of health benefits from adding Omega 3 to you daily routine, others include – helping with depression, may accelerate wound healing, may reduce risk of skin cancers.
sustaiability
Omega 3 is traditionally sourced from fish, which is problematic as this is not only unsustainable, but plastic fishing nets make up over 46% of ocean waste, which is a huge figure and extremely upsetting.
Vegums supplements are fish free and their Omega 3 from Sustainably sourced marine algae, which gives great nutrients and none of the heavy metal contaminants which you get with traditional methods.
Omega 3 contains DHA – which is usually found in fish, but Vegums extract and purify their DHA directly from sustainably sourced marine algae – DHA helps to maintain healthy eyes, skin, heart brain and hair – so all in all an absolute power house of a gummy.
vegan
All ingredients, colourings and gelling agents are completely plant based and vegan, which makes these supplements the perfect accompaniment for a healthy, vegan diet.
Myself and my fiancé have loved incorporating these to our daily routine, each morning we have a vitamin drink and a gummy, definitely helps keeps the mind fresh and healthy. Also a bonus for me ~ I struggle to swallow even the smallest of tablets, so these are a great (and tasty) alternative for people who struggle with that too.

packaging
I have to say Vegums have some of the most beautiful packaging I have seen, all Vegums packaging is zero waste, plastic free and 100% recyclable, which is great for the environment. I love the metal tins you store your gummies in, not only do they look great it keeps your gummies fresh and juicy!
I am definitely trying to make my way towards a zero waste lifestyle, so this is a welcome bonus.

A nurse was just telling me that the reason fish have Omega 3 in them is because they eat the algae, so it’s actually better to take supplements sourced directly from the algae in the first place.
Exactly, no reason to be harming fish!
Wow these look great! Yes Omega 3 is incredibly essential to our bodies, lots of people have given up fats in fear if getting fat themselves and thisbis completely opposite thinking. Other great sources of omega 3 are chia and flax seeds 🤗Thank you for sharing!
I didn’t even realise how amazing it was, I can’t wait to see what result I get. The gummies are delicious too, much easier for me to take than tablets & perfect for children too! I love chia seeds on top of smoothies!
Vegums sounds like a really good company!! Recently started taking gummy Omega 3 supplements but they taste so gross (they are flavored but still). Do the Vegums taste fishy?
They are fab!
These actually taste nice, they are strong organ donor flavour, they do taste a tiny bit oily after but nothing a coffee doesn’t fix 🙂 best ones I’ve tried so far.
Had never heard of Vegums before – they look great. Will have to give these a try
Amazing, hope you love them!
These are very exciting! I started taking an algae oil supplement, but they come in a plastic bottle. Vegan and zero waste is a definite win!
Amazing isn’t it, they taste lovely too!
When planting succulents within the ground, it’s necessary to supply them
with nicely-draining soil that may stop root rot.
Ooh I love this! I’ve been looking for a vegan omega 3 supplement but didn’t have any luck finding a gummy version. I ended up going with a capsule one, but after that runs out I’ll have to try this brand!
They are so good! I love them!
These gummies sound great for adding in omega 3 but also because they are vegan! I absolutely love the photos in this post!
