My skin is such a different story during the warmer months. Hello breakouts and oiliness! If (a big IF) I am going to be wearing make-up, I definitely want to be wearing something super lightweight and really comfortable to wear all day, which also gives me protection from UV light as much as possible.
first impressions
Finding a skin tint with a high SPF factor is not the easiest task. But…… I think I may have found a contender for one of the best SPF skin tints I have used. Garnier have recently released a new product in their much-loved Vitamin C range. It’s the Garnier Vitamin C Wonder Tint SPF50. Let’s talk about it! ☀️✨

The Garnier Vitamin C Wonder Tint SPF50 comes in a really cute bottle. It is only 40ml, though, so it’s not going to last that long if you are going to be using it every day, which is a little bit unfortunate. But, for the sake of this review, I will just review it as any other product and not base it on the product size.
benefits of the garnier vitamin c wonder tint spf50
- Combines lightweight tint coverage with SPF50 protection.
- Helps create a more even-looking complexion.
- Provides a natural-looking finish without feeling heavy on the skin.
- Designed to be comfortable for everyday wear.
- Easy to blend and suitable for quick make-up routines.
- Available in flexible shades that work across a variety of skin tones.
- Affordable and cruelty-free.
- Ideal for warmer weather when heavier foundations can feel uncomfortable.

my experience
I have been testing this product out for a couple of weeks now and, so far, I have been loving it. No notes! ☀️ There is zero white cast from this, and the tint is also really natural. I’ve got the shade Light, and it comes in three different shades (Light, Medium, Dark). The shades are really flexible and work for a variety of skin tones, which I think is great.
It is only a skin tint, so it’s not providing a huge amount of coverage, but it gives me enough coverage that I feel confident and comfortable not adding any more make-up. On those hot days, I just do not want to be wearing a ton of make-up on my face – this just gives a really nice, even, blurring coverage to my skin.

formula and finish
What I love about the Garnier Vitamin C Wonder Tint SPF50 is that it is cruelty-free, it’s super affordable, and it covers up any redness or dark circles that I have. It even covers up slight blemishes as well. I think it’s going to be a really great product to pick up during the summer and hot weather, and the SPF50 is just an added cheeky bonus.
I am quite fair-skinned and tend to burn quite easily, so having an SPF50 and a skin tint in one is a win-win for me.
The formula is fluid-like, non-sticky, non-greasy, lightweight, and easy to blend. It melts into the skin easily and leaves a really pretty glowy veil on the skin, but it doesn’t look too dewy. It leans more towards a matte glow – if that makes any sense! It looks natural on the skin. I’m really happy with how well it blended, how hydrated my skin felt, and how natural it looked.

final thoughts
If you are on the lookout for an affordable, cruelty-free skin tint, I’d definitely check out the Garnier Vitamin C Wonder Tint SPF50. I’d highly recommend it – 10/10 for me!
I also got this on TikTok Shop with some gold crystals included, so I thought I’d bedazzle the lid. That’s why mine looks a little bit extra fancy.
