Simple Halloween Veiny Eye Makeup Look -

If you are anything like me and really struggle with keeping it with all the super talented MUAs online, then this Halloween tutorial is for you.

Whilst I’m always in complete awe of the creations people can produce, they are unrealistic for most people, myself included, I can’t think of anything worse than spending 8 hours on a makeup look, I’d get bored half way through…. Quick and easy is my go to!

For this look I simply laid down a mid toned brown transition shade, blended a black eyeshadow on top, layering as I go….

Anyone else scared of using black eyeshadow, I always avoid it, as I’m so messy, but if you layer it up it’s easier to work with and having a brown transition shade always helps with / seamless blend. I then popped a shimmer shade on top and a gold shade in my inner corner, I unintentionally created a bruised look with these shades, but any shade would work.

Now to the fun bit. You have to use a super fine brush, my weapon of choice was an angled eyeliner brush from the Spectrum x Katie Jane Hughes collection which worked well (these brushes are elite by the way!)

Use a dark burgundy shade for the veins, loosely create wiggled lines to mimic veins from you eye and up to your temples. There is no formula, just random lines, it looks super effective and realistic, takes no time at all. I used Colourpop shadows for most of this look, as I know they perform really well,

I also opted to add some dark blue to further enhance the veiny appearance, but you don’t have to do this step.

Pop on some funky lashes and mascara and you are done. I’ve also used this technique around my lips and it looks amazing!
