I’ve always been intrigued by light therapy in skincare and being a self confessed skincare fanatic it was definitely something I wanted to try. Dermabeam offer a wide variety of light therapy products and I was over the moon to be able try their world class PRO led light therapy LED mask.

What is an LED light therapy mask
How an LED light therapy face mask works is that you do your usually skincare routine ~ I like to use this in the evenings, as it’s a nice little self care ritual, which we all need to make time for. You just select the treatment colour you want to use for the concern you want to focus on.
- Red ~ Stimulates Collagen Production
- Green ~ Reduced Oily Skin
- Blue ~ Eliminates Acne Bateria
- Pink ~ Imprves Wrinkles
- Purple ~ Heals Acne Scars
- Orange ~ Reduced Redness
- White ~ Fades Hyperpigmentation

The medical grade LEDs Dermabeam use help to energize skin cells for healthier, brighter and gloweier skin. The treatment is 100% non-invasive, painless, and suitable and safe for all skin types.
Dermabeam Pro LED is an extremely comfortable mask to wear, it is extremely easy to use with a touch sensor slide on the side of the mask to either turn on/off or change the treatment easily whilst still wearing the mask. It doesn’t slip off, stays put and doesn’t feel heavy or clunky.

Whilst you are wearing the mask you can simply caeey on with life, continue with chores or just relax and listen to some music while the mask does it’s work, you can still see out of the mask due to the protective eye guards, which I find really great, as I can browse the web or watch tv whilst enjoying the treatment ~ it is the only mask available which provides this kind of eye protection!
Light therapy is ideal for skin health, boosting collagen, and reducing acne and wrinkles.
The LED light therapy masks use clinically proven wavelengths at 633nm (red), 415nm (blue), and many more nanometers for the perfect light therapy treatment. These wavelengths are ideal for skin health, boosting collagen, and reducing acne and wrinkles. We love to hear this!

Length of treatment time
Using the LED therapy mask for upto 20 minutes a day is ideal and I find this to be the optimum treatment length.
I have been using the mask for just over 2 months now and my skin has notable improvements, the skin around my eyes looks smoother and my overall complexion looks brighter and more glowy with decreased redness and inflammation.

I’d highly recommend trying this mask if you are looking for targeted results without invasive treatments or painful laser treatments. It is a welcome step in my skincare routines.
it can take upto 3 months to see results depending on how often and how long you use the mask.
Would you add a light therapy mask to your skincare routine?
