A good mascara is a staple of my make up routine. I don’t feel completely put together if I’m not wearing a mascara. Anyone else? It just finishes off the look for me. I do have quite short and straight lashes without mascara – my eyes are one of the favourite features so I like them to really stand out. It would work well with different eyebrow fashions such as the scouse brow!!

I was very kindly sent the new WONDER’BOND BONDING SERUM MASCARA from Rimmel London. I don’t often get super excited and rave about mascara, but this one is So good. I love the flexible wand, it’s really unique and the bristles goes in an all different directions all around it really spiky so it really separates and length and lashes.

This mascara is inspired by bond repair serums so this formula is going to help keep your lashes healthy, which can help them grow longer. It’s a really pitch black shade, so it gives you lashes a really good coat and makes lashes really stand out which is what I love. The formula doesn’t clump or flake which is fab, as I find it really irritating when a mascara flakes/smushes. It’s just a really good all-round mascara which gives epic length and volume to lashes.

Biotin, known to reduce lash loss and to support healthy lashes
Arginine, an essential amino acid in keratin, to help strengthen, smooth & condition lashes
Pro vitamin B5 to moisturise & strengthen lashes
Clover flower extract and acetyl tetrapeptide to support natural growth

Like I mentioned, my lashes are quite straight so I do curl them quite a lot before applying mascara so I want a mascara it’s gonna keep my lashes coloured and this does do that it’s really good, it doesn’t weigh them down as it is a lightweight formula.

Hang on… I didn’t think Rimmel was cruelty free?

Well there is great news ~ Rimmel ARE now Cruelty Free now which is incredible. They are also approved by the leaping bunny programme which is highly respected and trusted and imo one of the best certifications a brand can have, and I love that because Rimmel London is and affordable drugstore brand available in Superdrug, Boots and online.

I’ve been wanting to try their products whenever they come out see products go viral but never wanted to try as they were not Cruelty Free and now I can try them which is great. This is an affordable mascara at £11.99, which I think is a good price point for a mascara.
