NEW Bali Body BBSKIN Skincare Range Review

I am so hyped to be writing this review, being a self confessed skincare addict, I was so excited to hear that my favourites Bali Body have released a sub brand skincare range! BBSKIN YES! You heard it 〰️ a full skincare range!

Can we just start with the aesthetic, I gasped when I opened my parcel, the minimalist, sleek design is so eye catching, I love the colour combination, it’s super pretty and looks expensive! And you know that BBSKIN are coming through with the recyclable materials, they really are at the forefront of sustainability with their products. The entire range is vegan and cruelty free.

Let’s get into the skincare shall we?

I received some products from the range so I’ll be reviewing those today.

Pro-Collagen Cream

I love using this moisturising cream as the second to last step in my skincare routine, it has a beautiful, light cream texture which melts into the skin, doesn’t feel heavy, which is perfect for my 35+ skin.

The peptides in this cream are the perfect solution to fight ant signs of aging, they plump the skin, helping to leave a fresh and youthful appearance. I love that this cream also have Hyaluronic Acid to help retain moisture in the skin.

The star ingredient for me is the Bakuchiol which is a natural retinol alternative, again this helps with signs of a aging and skin texture. I have struggled with retinoids in the last, due to my sensitive skin and have had no problems using Bakuchiol due to it being natural and a non irritant.

Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and improves skin’s elasticity thank to its ability to aid the regulation of epidermal cells and retain 1000 times its own weight in water to boosts skins moisture content and plump the look of skin.

Vitamin D Serum

This Vitamin D serum is a delight to use, it has a very lightweight texture which is lovely on the skin, it contains and abundance of beneficial ingredients, which are naturally sourced and work together to fight signs to aging, hydrate and smooth the skin.

I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my skin texture and softness since using this serum, used together with the whole range it will definitely be a welcome addition to your daily skincare routine.

Key Ingredients

Reishi Mushroom Extract (Vitamin D): Vitamin Dsi actually a hormone and has been scientifically proven to assist in the repair and renewal of DNA by promoting the growth of telomeres in chromosomes.

Kakadu Plum: Provides Vitamin C to mitigate fine lines and wrinkles with Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

Chondrus Crispus Extract: Also known as red algae, which is rich of fatty acids that provide natural hydration to protect, soften and smooth the skin.

Hydrating Skin Shield

I think this has to be my absolute favourite product in the range. It’s a beautiful oil like consistency which leaves the most dewy, glowy look to skin, it’s ideal to use as the last step in your skincare routine.

I’ve been using this regularly both under makeup and by itself and my skin looks hydrated, nourished and radiant. The Hyaluronic acid helps to lock in moisture and leaves skin plump and nourished and the Zinc Oxide helps to protect skin against UVA/UVB rays. We love!!

Provitamin B5: Deeply hydrates and nourishes with anti-inflammatory protection.

Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and improves skin’s elasticity thanks to its ability to aid the regulation of epidermal cells and retain 1000 timesits own weight in water to boosts skin’s moisture content and plump the look of skin.

Zinc Oxide: An essential mineral that can help maintain skin health. When applied topically, zinc oxide forms a barrier on top of our skin. This protective barrier shields skin from the elements such as UV rays, and locks in hydration and moisture.

Brightening Eye Serum

I absolutely love using eye serums, especially since my 30’s I’ve been really trying to concentrate on the skin around my eyes, as this is the thinnest and can be prone to fine lines, dullness and wrinkles.

I love that this eye serum has a light and refreshing texture, it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey around my eye area, I’m so happy it included peptides which help to instantly plump the skin under my eyes. The cucumber extract really helps cool and refresh, which is just what I need in the mornings.

Key Ingredients

Peptides: Perform specific functions such as building collagen and elastin to support, firm and hydrate the skin.

Chamomile Extract: Known for its ability to calm and soothe, chamomile helps to alleviate redness, relieve inflammation, soothe sensitive skin and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Cucumber Extract: Hydrates and soothes the skin. Its refreshing properties can reduce puffiness and relieve itching, as well ashelp to easeredness.

Vitamin Hydration Mask

I’m a huge fan of masking and wow, if you are looking for ultimate hydration this mask is going to be your new favourite skincare product. The texture is a super thick gel consistency, which is really cooling and deeply hydrating on the skin.

I like to leave this on for 10-15 minutes and wash away, it leaves skin feeling so soft and nourished. I use this mask 2-3 times per week, it’s a nice little treat at the end of the day. The Niacinamide and vitamins help to promote healthier, glowing plumper skin.

Always remember to treat yourself and skincare is a self care, run a bubble bath, light a candle and pop on a face masks I know you’ll love this hydration mask as much as me!

Kakadu Plum: Contains one of the highest sources
of Vitamin C and makes your skin glownaturally. The highcontent of Vitamin C helps to protect against free radicals, soothe irritation and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love this whole BBSKIN skincare range, from well thought ou ingredients to the aesthetic of the brand, I love that everything is recyclable, vegan and cruelty free.

You are getting high end ingredients for an affordable price from a trusted brand. If I was to recommend one product you should invest in, it would be the Hydrating Skin Shield it’s just SO good and love how dewy/glowy it leaves my skin.
