I’ve been a huge fan girl of Paul and Joe Beaute for quite some time now. If you are new to their makeup, they are the brand that is behind the super cute cat lip balms – you will know them and seen them on social media. They are iconic – I’ve used them many times on my Instagram. So cute.
I just love cats anyway. Bit of a crazy cat lady over here, so anything cat related I am just obsessed with.
This collection is a vintage inspired collection so it’s sort of – think flapper girl make up – bold red lips and dark winged liner and a slight shimmer to the lids because you know you need your eyes to shimmer when you’re out on stage.
This collection is so different to anything else that Paul and Joe Beaute have released before – it’s so beautiful – not saying that other stuff isn’t beautiful but this is just a different kind of beautiful vibes, this is like giving vintage vibes completely. I love the makeup bag that comes with aswell the beautiful of vintage design, it’s so beautiful.
If you’ve been following my blog or Instagram for any sort of time, you’ll know I love anything sparkly and glittery and this eyeshadow palette has the most gorgeous shimmers in it. There is a diamond white, sparkling orange and silky beige – they are so ethereal and when you apply them to the lids that it looks like it’s just diamonds on your lids it’s just stunning and it photographs so wow and I love using my star filter on glitter as you probably know and this just pops it’s gorgeous.
The highlighter in this collection is really beautiful so I love the embossed with a peony flower design on the actual product and the compact is really high-quality and it’s got a little mirror in there as well which I think it’s really cute really handy. The shade is a really natural white gold illuminating powder which melts into the skin like butter – it looks really pretty. It’s not super blinding and glowy, which I love it’s really natural for everyday use.
So there are two versions of shade collections in this release and I was sent the 001 collection which contains a really gorgeous coppery red lipstick which is just what your minds goes to when you think of the vintage flapper girl era – you instantly think of a bold coppery red lipstick and this is such an iconic roaring 20’s shade – it’s gorgeous and it has a really beautiful texture, very creamy and moisturising. I love the floral embossing on the lipstick too, super pretty and high end.
Everything about this collection is gorgeous – as is anything that Paul and Joe Beaute releases. I am such a fan girl for this brand – it’s actually quite funny.
If you are looking for a new makeup collection that you can try out, I highly recommend this one it comes with the most gorgeous make up bag and the eyeshadows are definitely the standout for me – they are so stunning and that champagne shade is chefs kiss.
