It’s that time of year again. The sun is starting to come out, and it feels like the perfect moment to switch up your makeup routine. The most recent launch from Rare Beauty has really caught my eye, and I was very kindly sent a gorgeous PR parcel with all of their new Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blushes.
These are such a unique hybrid formula. They go on like a cream but dry down to a matte finish, which I think is going to be absolutely perfect for summer. They’re not overly dewy, which is ideal when you want something a bit more long-wearing and lightweight in warmer weather.
The shades are just stunning and in every possible variation of pink and peachy prettiness you can think of. I genuinely love the texture; they’re so bouncy, squishy, and soft. The formula feels beautiful on the skin, and the colours are vibrant without being overpowering.
Have you tried any of these shades yet, or are you planning to pick any up? I think Hope is calling my name – it’s already my favourite shade in the liquid blush, so naturally, it’s the one I’m most excited about in this formula too.
The packaging is also spot-on. It’s aesthetically pleasing and completely fits my style. Honestly, everything Rare Beauty puts out just seems to hit the mark. The formulas are iconic, and I can’t think of anything I genuinely dislike – well, maybe the mascara packaging, since it tends to get a bit messy. But other than that, it’s all 10 out of 10 for me.
