Top Instagram Hashtags for Bloggers

Fun fact, did you know that an Instagram account with 1 hashtag will receive 12.6% more engagement than one without. I’ve always wondered about hashtags, do they work, don’t they? Instagram made them available for a reason right, so its always best to use tools Instagram offers, it does help with the every changing algorithm.

I have noticed that they do bring more engagement to my posts a few new followers to my feed each month.

I thought I’d share some Instagram hashtags that I have been using recently. In my notes app (am absolute must have) I save a variety of hashtags for different categories, I then adapt them to what I am posting to make it more personal. And remember there is a 30 hashtag limit to each post.

The key to encouraging more more people to engage with your content is to chose hashtags which do not have millions of posts, as it’s just going to get lost. Its a good idea to use a mix of small, medium and large hashtags so you have the best chance of your post being seen. So mix it up, see what works for you.

Have a little look through relevant hashtags to your posts/account and you will soon find ones that will work well for your account.

It is also a great idea to engage on these related posts, I have found so many incredible accounts in my niche through hashtags, and remember it is called social media for a reason, be social!
