Happy new year guys, I really hope you had a lovely Christmas, its great to spend time with friends and family isn’t it, to take a break and just relax for a week or so, recharge the old batteries and reflect on the year. I have a set myself a few goals this year, not resolutions, just small goals I want to achieve throughout the year, and one of this is improving my skincare routine to something more consistent. At the moment, I have a somewhat regular skincare routine, but this year, 2020, I really want to up my game. Enter Q+A Skincare.

About Q+A Skincare
Q+A Skincare are a natural, clean skincare range, who offer affordable products, with high end ingredients. The product range contains 98%, yes 98% natural ingredients and their serums use a unique water suspension system which keeps your skincare as clean as possible.
Q+A was founded in 2019 and is a UK based business, all of their products are produced in Norfolk at a family production facility – I love that! All Q+A products are cruelty free and are not sold in any countries that require animal testing. Most products are vegan friendly, asides from moisturiser emulsions which contain beeswax.

I was sent 5 products from their range to test and share my results with you. I have been testing these products for just over a month now, so feel I have a pretty good idea of how they are working for me. NOW, let’s delve into the Skincare shall we.
Peppermint Daily Cleanser
This is the perfect wake up call in the shower, I cannot express enough, just how fresh this cleanser is. The peppermint leaves your skin feeling so clean, fresh and hydrated, it has this really unique cooling effect, which I love, its great for removing all those nasties and left over makeup, it doesn’t dry or suck the moisture our of your skin. I love this and its a great first step for your morning skincare routine. The cleanser is £7.49 for 125ml.

Niacinamide Daily Toner
Niacinamide is a great ingredient to use daily, as it helps to calm redness and inflammation whilst minimising pores. I use this light toner every day after the peppermint cleanser, it leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and completely clear of any makeup and impurities. It is great used in combination with the Activated Charcoal Facemask and Hyaluronic Acid Serum, they make the perfect skincare trio. The toner is £7.99 for 100ml.

Hyaluronic Acid Serum
I love a good serum, some may say a bit too much, I have a huge collection, which is always growing. Hyaluronic Acid is key to maintaining moisture in the skin, this is great to use both morning and evening. I have noticed my skin isn’t as dry or dull since using this, its a nice thick serum, which doesn’t leave any sticky residue, as ew! no-one wants thats, and that is a really important factor for me, as I hate sticky skincare. This 30ml bottle is just £6.50.

Activated Charcoal Face Mask
Who doesn’t love a good face mask, I use one at least twice weekly as part of my skincare routine, I love to just pop a face mask on and relax for 20 minutes with a herbal tea and some trash TV. This face mask has everything you want from a face mask, its a detox in a jar. The Charcoal is great for those pesky blackhead and for drawing out impurities, it leaves your skin fresh, clean and purified. A 50g jar of Activated Charcoal Face Mask is just £6.49 – an absolute steal!

Liquorice Lip Oil
Liquorice you say? yes this has a great moisturising effect and actually has a plumping effect too, moisturised and plumped lips, yes please. I have been suffering with very dry lips for a while, and this has really helped soften and hydrate them, I am no longer sporting the cracked lip look thanks to this natural lip oil. I love to use this just before bed, so it can work it magic over night. The oil contains 100% natural ingredients and can boost moisture in your lips by up-to 45%. A special mention to the metal ball applicator, this is so good, not only does the oil glide on easily it has the most amazing cooling effect. For £6.49 you can own this beauty of an oil.

Would I Recommend?
As you can probably tell by the glowing reviews, I would definitely recommend trying Q+A Skincare, like I said they are super affordable and have the most amazing, clean ingredients, that really work. If you are going to any anything from the brand, I’d definitely recommend picking up the Niacinamide Daily Toner , Activated Charcoal Facemask and Hyaluronic Acid Serum, as they make the perfect skincare trio. What will you try first?

Thank you for writing this post, I’ve been wanting to switch up my skincare products because my skin gets too used to them if I use them for so long, and then I end up no longer seeing the benefits!
