Eco Friendly Zero Waste Deodorant | Coconut Matter

When you are in the supermarket looking through the extensive deodorant aisle, are you thinking about what ingredients are in that deodorant or what will happen to the packaging when you are out? Maybe not. I’m here to let you know about an amazing new deodorant brand I’ve discovered on my plastic free, zero waste, sustainable journey.

The majority of people wear deodorant (no judgement here if you don’t) and there are some pretty nasty ingredients that are in most deodorants, mainly aluminium ~ which is yes a metal, on your skin? No thank you! Once I read a little into this and what it can potentially do, NO MAAM!! Aluminium-containing antiperspirantsprevent toxins from being expelled by the body. So yes after researching, I was a little concerned and wanted to change what I was putting on my body. The brand coconut matter is a zero waste, vegan and cruelty free brand, they products the most beautiful natural deodorants in 109% recyclable packaging. Each tube contains 30g (1oz) of coconut oil based goodness and the best part – these deodorants can last upto 5 months & they smell incredible. Hero ~ Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Rosemary, the push of essential oils you need to seize the day! Even better, it’s zero residues, zero stickiness and zero stains.

Zen ~ this is my absolute favourite I love anything with bergamot fragrances. A stick that contains the aromas of wellness and vitality recharged by the blend of Cedarwood, Bergamot and Vetiver. Ommm… it’s mind-soothing

Free ~ This particular coconut oil natural deodorant does three things, fast. Stops body odor, improve underarm’s skin health (not many do that!) and gets you comfortable with your natural perfume

I’ve been testing out a few fragrances of these deodorants over the past few weeks. Deodorant is a tricky one for me, as my skin is quite sensitive and if I’m not wearing the right deodorant for me I will end up smelling a little ~ which is never good! So when I realised that these deodorants worked for me, I was thrilled, I even got my fiancé to try them & he loved them too (he’s not quite there with the swap yet!)
