This is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own.
I love it when something new and fun arrives in my inbox. Cleansing balls you say. This sparked my interest right away. How do they look, how do they work? Let me share my experience with these fun to use cleansing balls.

Who are Ongredients?
Ongredients are a clean beauty brand from Korea, they offer some fabulous skincare products from these super interesting cleansing balls to toners and essences. They focus on clean ingredients and sustainable packaging, which I love.
I have to say their branding is very aesthetic and definitely caught my eye.

Cleansing ball set
I received a full set of the new natural fragrances which are; Damask Rose, Aloe and Marine Algae ~ the Cleansing ball cleanses and hydrates skin with natural green tea extract. The jelly-like texture and essence smooths out tired and rough skin texture and helps to retain skins natural moisture with Vitamins and catechins.
Each of the cleansing balls are packaged in a recyclable and sustainably made bag and just as their ingredients, the lavender fragrance used is all-natural, giving you a true floral aroma.
Simply use your hands or a hessian bag to gently create a silky soft foam with the ball. Massage the foam into skin and rinse off with lukewarm water. Voila! I love using these in the shower, they feel really bouncy and have definitely helped restore my skins texture and moisture levels. The cleansing balls are even strong enough to remove all traces of makeup.
Whats great is you can use on the go, as a shampoo, body wash and cleanser, so it really is an all in one solution.
All the cleansing balls are intensely moisturising and leave skin feeling extremely soft, smooth and nourished and with a pH value similar to human skin, these subacid cleansing balls helps maintain the skin’s ideal balance of acidity and keep the skin healthy.

All cleansing balls are PETA certified Vegan. A certification for products that don’t contain any animal-related materials and cruelty-free beauty products.
Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
Ongredients cleansing balls are perfect for sensitive skin due to light natural fragrance and Centella Asiatic Extract, natural colourings used. I love that they leave a beautiful dewy look to the skin.

Ongredients practices Clean Beauty
Ongredients uses eco-friendly packaging for all of their skincare products, this includes;
- Use of label-free single plastic (PP) containers that are easy to recycle
- Use eco-friendly biodegradable pouches instead of vinyl and aluminum
- Use of eco-friendly paper bins made by recycling sugar cane residues from the sugar production process without cutting down trees
Once the cleansing ball has been finished, it’s gone, there is zero waste, which is what I love about this brand, they are thinking about their impact on the earth and providing incredible products in the process.
As well as being sustainable as possible, Ongredients go the extra mile and donate 1,000 won per sale quantity when selling products that are inevitably used and difficult to recycle for ease of use.
What do I have to do to use it longer?
You simply just hang or place the cleansing ball in a draining soap dish or soap bag to keep it dry for the next use. With normal use each cleansing ball will last you a good couple of months. (The cleansing ball needs to completely drain after each so it can be used for a longest possible time)

Overall thoughts 💭
I absolutely love these shiny, bouncy spheres, not only are they super fun to use, they fantastic cleansing power. My skin always feel hydrated, soft and nourished. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone on the look out for a sustainable, zero waste daily cleanser.
