The majority of us are now working from home, where we can. Luckily, I am based at home anyway, so not too much has changed for me, well the fact I haven’t left the house in nearly 3 weeks, is a little different, but I digress. I have some new makeup to share.
MUA Cosmetics have curated an amazing work from home edit, which includes some favourites, the idea behind this is you can quickly drop everything, pop on a face of makeup if you need to jump on that dreaded video call, these are all super quick and easy to use products.

The work from home edit includes;
Pro Base Primer Oil with Gold Flakes
I wasn’t sure what I would think of using an oil based primer, as I do tend to lean towards the oily skin side, especially on my t zone, but this is really lovely, it is a really nice, hydrating oil, with a beautiful fresh scent. It’s a dry oil, so isn’t greasy in the slightest, also it has gold flakes, so you know…. Got to love it!

Pro Base Long Wear Matte Finish Foundation
I have tried this MUA Long Wear Matte Foundation many times, and I love it, this is just £4, yes…. £4 it’s an incredible comfortable matte finish and provides great coverages, without looking cakey, I used the shade 102, which is the second lightest shade.
Blushed Matte Powder Papaya Whip
The design of this blush alone is enough to fall love, the rose embossed blush, is matte and I would say Papaya Whip is a beautiful nude/peachy shade, which is perfect for a natural flush of colour.
This blusher would also work really well as a transition eyeshadow shade, I love to do that on a natural makeup day, as it ties everything in together.

Brow Define Micro Eyebrow Pencil
When I want a more structured brow, I definitely reach for a micro pencil over anything else. I currently use the Glossier boy brow most days, but this is a welcome change. I love how thin the nib is, so its super easy to sculpt and define your brows, and the spoolie helps you to separate brow hairs, or brush them up, which is what I have been loving to do recently for a “fluffier” look.
Plumping Lipgloss
I always get nervous about trying plumping lip-glosses, as sometimes the plumping sensation can be a little intense, but the MUA Plumping Lipgloss is so mild, and the minty scent really makes this a winner for me. This isn’t a sticky gloss, its super comfortable to wear, and is a daily staple!

Cooling Pro Base Fixing Spray
To finish off any look, you need a good fixing spray, the Cooling Pro Base Fixing Spray, not only works as a brilliant fixing spray, but also as a cooling spray throughout the day, it smells really fresh and leaves skin feeling invigorated and hydrated.
The star of the show for me, was definitely the gold flake primer oil, it blew me away, it felt so nice on the skin, and really created the perfect base for a matte foundation!
As always, every product is super affordable vegan, cruelty free and under £10. MUA Cosmetics are available from Superdrug and MUA online.

I haven’t try this brand. But MUA cosmetic does sounds cool. Thank you for sharing this beauty tips too.
They are so good and completely vegan 🌱 too xx
I haven’t been wearing makeup much during lockdown but I’m trying to do it at least once a week as it makes me feel that bit fresher and generally a bit better about myself! Given that I’m working from home I much prefer the extra 20 minutes in bed which is the main reason I haven’t been bothering during the week, but over the weekends I’ve been making more of an effort and trying out different looks! I’ve not used MUA products before but they all look really good, and the affordable price point is even more appealing! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’m exactly the same, I already work from home, so there’s not ton much difference in that sense, I don’t wear makeup every single day but when I donut always cheers me up. MUA are amazing, so affordable and vegan 🌱 xx
