I have always loved plants and flowers and whilst i adore keeping them around the flat, i have the tendency to – shall we say “love them to death” i am far too overzealous with the water so when I was asked if i wanted to try a bouquet from The Magic Flowers Company, I was intrigued, I hopped straight on to ole google and had a good read.

about the magic flower company
The Magic Flower Company is a small family run company based in Suffolk who provide preserves real flowers, which last up to a year or sometimes longer. Every bouquets is specially selected from 100% real flowers and carefully arranged, you can really see how much love and care goes into these bouquets, they are stunning.

I was so excited to receive beautiful flowers, which i knew i couldn’t kill.. they are and they are absolutely glorious, a mix of red roses and gorgeous foliage. you have to keep the flowers away from any water (done) they require little to no maintenance, maybe the little dust no and then. They make the perfect arrangement for weddings, businesses and home decor – for me they are the perfect blog prop, i mean fresh flowers for up-to a year for blog posts is amazing right?
preservation process
The process of preservation is different for every singe flower, but the basics is that the flower sap is replaced with glycerin base mix and the flowers and leaves are organically dyed. Sounds so interesting, like a science experiment. All the chemicals used during the preservation process are non toxic and pose zero harm. I didn’t even know this practice existed until i found out about Magic flowers.

final thoughts
I really am so glad I have found out about The Magic Flower Company, i am definitely going to be repurchasing some foliage over the next few months, they have some absolutely gorgeous eucalyptus. Also can you Imagine all the gorgeous Christmas foliage that will be available, definitely bookmarking the site – i’m just a little bit excited!
