Hi Loves
I have been using quite a few different skincare products recently and I have been really enjoying salt body scrubs in the shower and body oils, as they are so just so perfect after a nice hot bath, and I do love a good bath. I was very kindly asked to review some products from ishga: Organic Scottish Seaweed Skincare*
A little bit about ishga;
“The Hebrides has some of the cleanest waters in the world where we sustainably hand harvest the seaweed to produce a 100% organic ingredient for our Skincare range. We believe that the seaweed content in the products is higher than any other Seaweed brands on the market. Scientific tests have shown that Hebridean seaweed contains natural anti-oxidants that have anti-ageing properties which help protect the skin. ishga products work on every skin type by harnessing the potent powers of the finest Scottish seaweed. We believe the products can really make a positive difference to the health and appearance of your skin”.
Firstly I have been loving all the products that I have been sent, they are all amazing quality and well worth investing in, they truly add a touch of luxury to your skincare routine. I will have a little chat about what I received and how I got along with them.
Invigorating Body Oil
The Invigorating Body Oil is a stunning product, which contains natural Scottish seaweed, which nourishes and moisturises the skin, as well as helping self-repair the skin. I use this oil just after getting out of a hot bath, I apply liberally to damp skin, it absorbs super quick and leaves the skin feeling very fresh and smooth. You can also drop a few drops in your bath as you relax. You get 100ml of products for £35, this will last a long time, as you do not need to use much to cover your body. I really recommend try this oil, as it’s not an “oily” oil, it’s quite dry so doesn’t leave your skin feeling slippery and slidey like some oils can.
Ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Seed Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil, Fucus Serratus Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Pelargonium Graveolens Leaf Oil, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil, Cymbopogon Citratus Leaf Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil & Ethylhexylglycerin.
Hebridean Sea Salt Scrub
I love the Hebridean Sea Salt Scrub, as I said, I have been really into body scrubs at the moment, and this one doesn’t disappoint, it is very exfoliating and cleansing. You only need a small about, as it contains a lot of oil, which helps it spread across the body. Once you wash off the scrub, your skin will feel so soft and subtle with a beautiful citrus scent, which is gorgeous in the morning, as the lemon really invigorates the mind. You get 50ml for £15. I’ve nearly run out of mine, so I will defiantly be purchasing some more when I am out.

Organic Seaweed Body Wash
Body wash is a n essential part of my shower routine, I will not feel complete unless I have used a good shower gel. This Organic Seaweed Body Wash is the perfect shower companion, it lathers up a treat and leave the skin feeling, clean, fresh and ready for the day. It has a beautiful natural scent to it, which is not overwhelming, as I find that some shower gels tend to be. The scent stays on the skin for hours. It contains coconut oil, so will nourish and hydrate the skin. You get 250ml for £17.50.
