My 5 Minute Everyday Cruelty Free Makeup

Hi guys, hope 2020 is treating you well So far. I wanted to talk through what makeup I  wear and skincare I use on a pretty much everyday basis, as I don’t know about you but I seem to always be in a rush. I never wear a glam look daily, I’m all about the natural no makeup, makeup look.

Skincare

Before even thinking about applying any makeup, I make sure I have washed and cleansed my face very well, I then use a hydrating moisturiser and I have been using the Sukin Moisture rich facial moisturiser, which is perfect for the cold weather as it injects some moisture and hydrates the skin, I’ve nearly run out of this bottle 😓

Foundation

When I am in a rush I will generally reach for a powder foundation as these are just so easy and quick to apply, you dont have to think about blending etc. The once I reach for most would be my Body Shop all in one Face Base, which goes on super smooth and the coverage is pretty good! I won’t actually use a concealer if I’m in a rush and I don’t think it works well with a powder foundation on top anyway, so I’ll skip that step.

If I do have a little extra time I do tend use a liquid foundation. Recently I have been reaching for my Too Faced Born This Way foundation in Snow, as this gives such a good ‘your skin, but better’ look, which is perfect for work! It always give a decent amount of coverage!

Blusher

I tend to go for a nice natural blush, as I do have very pale skin and can easily over do it with blush. I have been reaching for this So Susan illuminating blush alot recently it gives that perfect flushed look and a bit of sparkle aswell.

Highlighter

I don’t tend to bronze or contour on rush days so I go straight to highlighting a little, as you know, a girls gotta glow. I have so many highlights, they are my weakness but recently I have been reaching for Becca champagne pop so a nice light golden glow. It’s so pretty!!!

Eyebrows

For my daily brows I have been using the Glossier Boy Brow in Brown as honestly nothing else is quicker, just one swipe of the brush and you have your brows filled in. I have been growing out my brows and have a Little shape now so I haven’t been using pomades or pencils for the past few months.

Eyeshadow

I love place little warm brown eyeshadow Or bronzer in my crease & a light shimmer on my lid. I love using my Tarte palette for this, I am obsessed with this palette, I use it daily!! I got this in a gift set from QVC a couple of years ago.

Mascara

I use a little swipe of Tarte Lights, Cameras Action as this gives my lashes a flirty, fluttery look, I only apply one layer as I don’t want them to look too heavy compared to the rest of my makeup.

Lips

For my lips i’ll go for a simple Lip balm, usually a body shop one, as these are always super moisturising and they come in so many delicious scents (or flavours!… makes it sound like I’m going to eat it). I’ve been loving the Honey once recently. Body Shop are always having really good sales, so make sure to pick up a few when they are on sale.
