I haven’t written a makeup review in what seems like forever. I have been focussing on blogging tips and lost my way a little, so over the next few weeks I will be sharing more reviews, as I have some new products to share, plus I’ve really missed writing them.
Highlighter ~ this has to be my favourite step in any makeup routine, it can bring a look from a 10 – 100 with the right product.
Even if you aren’t into the blinding highlights, a subtle highlight can really bring the look up a notch and highlight your face in the right places.
bali body highlight sticks
Enter Bali Body Liquid Highlighters, Bali body, I know what you are thinking?
They are a well known and respected vegan tanning brand, with some incredible products including the Peach Tanning Oil, which I have previously reviewed.
I have to say, you know what… tanning brands definitely know their way around a highlight!

The new Highlights are in a liquid stick form, which I enjoy, they are quick and easy to use and blend. The applicator is somewhat reminiscent of a liquid lipstick doe foot applicator.
Available in 3 universal shades Moonlit, Rose Gold and Sunkissed.
I appreciate that all these shades are on the warmer spectrum and would look stunning with a tan and the Sunkissed shade would be gorgeous on deep skintones!
Once you have applied the highlight if doesn’t dry down straight away so you do have some wiggle room to blend and the overall look is natural, glowy and Sunkissed.
Just to add to the fabness, these highlights are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free < all the good stuff here.

The formula is a more of a creamy, moussey liquid texture which dries down matte. It isn’t oil based so doesn’t drip all down your cheek like usual liquid highlighters, which can get messy, so I definitely love that.
Overall I am loving these highlights, I am definitely a liquid product convert and will continue to use these throughout spring/summer, think faux freckles and a Bronzed/Sun-kissed look.
Will you be trying these highlighters? Do you use liquid highlight? I’ve been loving it recently for a fresh, dewy look.

Wow these look gorgeous!! I’ve been nervous to use liquid highlighters due to the same reasons you stated but I should give these a try!
They are so fun, I love the applicator, as you can kind of brush it on, rather than drip x
These are interesting! I love the shades. It seems like they could be used as eye shadows too!
They are beautiful & definitely I have used them as eyeshadows when I’m wanting a quick put together look.
These look stunning! I also want to try that tanning oil now. Love that it’s vegan!
The tanning oil is so lovely, smells of peach too.
I’ve never heard of this brand before!
Ooo they have some fab tanning products, their BB cream is also really lovely
These look SO luxurious! I’m all about a beautiful (fake) glow during the summer. I try to avoid the sun as much as possible, so I do a lot of fake/spray tanning, but I’ve been missing that extra shine. This is precisely what I need to add to my beauty collection. What a fantastic review!
Definitely, I’m the same, I really don’t like the sun at all. So fake it all the way for me!
love the shimmer! Looks fabulous 🙂 Thanks for sharing your review x
They are so beautiful, thank you for stopping by.
