Happy Sunday loves. Hope the weekend has treated you nicely. I am so glad I am nearly over my illness, no idea what was wrong with me, but I couldn’t sleep, concentrate and was feeling faint continuously, glad that ones over. I’m ready to go back to work and get back to normal.
As I’ve been off work I haven’t been outside for 3 days and I was itching to get some fresh crisp winter air, plus I had a eye test booked from a while ago that I needed to attend, as I’ve been having horrific migraines…. anyway enough of my ailments, I wanted to buy some more candles, Christmas scent candles to be exact so after discovering I need glasses as I’m short sighted, off to TK MAXX we went.
I love the home section in TK MAXX it’s always so messy and like a jumble sale, but that’s what I kind of love about it, you can find hidden treasures.
I picked up 3 DW Candles the first 2 are packaged in an adorable triangle packaging. I didn’t even smell the first candle, which was decorated with cats in Santa hats, as I knew I had to have it, but luckily it smelt amazing, it’s Eucalyptus and mint.
My fiancée chose the Peppermint & Sugar candle, which is adorned with Sweets and Flamingos. The packaging is to die for and perfect if you are wanting Christmas gifts. I almost didn’t want to unwrap these, but I did!
lastly, as standard I had to get a Cinnamon candle, this just oozes a Christmas and I love Cinnamon all year round, but especially when it’s cold outside, it’s such a warming, inviting scent.
We also paid Poundland a visit and as always I just wanted to pick up some hand wash and ended up buying half the shop…. well a few things.
I picked up a stone, yes stone Buddha bust, which is such good quality for £1 and would also be great as a gift. Love this and I have it on top of our bedroom wardrobe.
Also picked up some cute wall decorations, these are bronzey style metal in the forms of starbursts, which I thought would look lovely on our very sparse white walls in the hallway, they look great and these were actually only 50p >>>> love when you get to the till and things are marked down! Wish I brought 2 more haha!
I found a cute Christmas puddings bathbomb, tucked away in the Christmas section, which was being stocked up, looks really sweet and also has some gold glitter in, look forward to using this one!
Lastly picked up some Vanilla tea-lights, as I can never have enough, as I’m always burning some kind of essential oil or wax melt!
Had to include this, as it was lush, on the way home we had a cheeky white chocolate mocha and chocolate orange cheesecake in Cafe Nero! They do the best and most frothy coffee!
