A new day, a new blush to review and this is a gorgeous blurring, squishy Blush Crush Bouncy Blush from Profusion Cosmetics.

I absolutely adore the texture of these blushes or anything of this texture to be honest – it leaves a really soft matte veil on the skin and it’s a beautiful mix of a cream and powder. It has the feel of a cream but when you apply it to the skin it blurs out into a really soft matte finish which is really natural and really pretty. The texture is so cushiony and bouncy too, it almost makes you want to keep pressing into it because it feels so soft and airy.
This kind of textured blush is so perfect for spring and summer as when the weather is a little bit warmer maybe you might not want to have really super dewy skin (I prefer a dewy look personally) but I’m trying to embrace the matte look. What I really love about this formula is that you can keep it really soft and subtle with just a tiny tap, or build it up into a much more noticeable sun-flushed look without it ever looking heavy or patchy.

This shade PINK CRUSH is everything, it is the perfect sunkissed, sunblushed shade. I absolutely love it, I can’t hype up the texture of these blushes enough. I just love it. It’s also super satisfying to apply and the texture is just so lush, it’s giving putty, squishy mousse and I absolutely love it. Once blended, it gives the cheeks this soft-focus effect that almost looks like naturally pinched skin rather than obvious makeup, which I think is so flattering.
Another thing I really appreciate is that the formula feels comfortable on the skin throughout the day thanks to ingredients like jojoba oil and vitamin E, so it doesn’t feel dry or tight on the cheeks. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free which is always a huge bonus for me. Even the packaging has been thoughtfully designed using recyclable materials which I love seeing from affordable beauty brands.

Profusion Cosmetics are a super affordable cruelty-free makeup brand that you can buy online on their own website and various drugstores – these blushes are also only £4.50.
Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried anything from Profusion Cosmetics – they’ve been around for such a long time and I remember back in high school using some of their products, so this feels like a full circle moment using them as a 40-year-old which I think is really cool.
