AD ~ This is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own.
For the last few months, I have been suffering with extremely dry skin flare ups on my face and body. I have also been having a few eczema flare ups on my hands and arms, which can be very uncomfortable and irritating. I have been trying to switch up my skincare routine to reflect my new dry skin (I’m used to being oily all over, now I have more combination skin) – what I have been really enjoying using at the moment is the SootheSkin Atlantic kelp and rosehip hydrating day cream.

This is a gorgeous day cream, so it is suitable to be used everyday. I have also used this on my hands and arms, where I have dry patches and it has worked really well and added some much needed moisture to my skin. I like to apply this cream as the last step in my skincare routine after cleansing, toning and serums.
Also what I have been doing recently is adding my favourite oil to the cream, this makes a great evening treatment and skips a step in your skincare routine, great if you are in a rush.
The cream has the nicest consistency, it is very thick, but not the clog your pores kind of thick. You only need a small amount of cream, as it is extremely hydrating, it sinks into the skin nicely and doesn’t feel greasy or slippy at all, which is always a bonus. Another thing I really appreciate is that it comes in a pump style bottle, so it is super easy to use, and these types of bottles are much more hygienic than using a cream in a pot.
SootheSkin entire range has now been approved by the Leaping Bunny cruelty-free programme.

The cream is also registered Vegan and as a mentioned previously you can just it all over the body, not just the face, which is incredible. Another great thing about this cream is that you are able to add your own oils to the cream to create your own bespoke combination.
Benefits:
Repairs and protects sensitive, dry and itchy skin
Suitable for people who may be prone to eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis
100% Naturally organic formulation, registered with The Vegan Society
Rich in antioxidants and vitamins which are quickly absorbed by the skin
Suitable for:
Normal & Dry skin types
Sensitive, eczema, psoriasis-prone skin

What is your skintype? Do you suffer with dry skin? Have you heard of Soothe Skin before?

This looks promising. I’ve got pretty sensitive skin and with autoimmune problems, anything could cause inflammation – so I love seeing products with natural ingredients

I was oh-so excited about this product! It sounds truly phenomenal. I’m totally bummed it has both avocado and oat because I’m super allergic to those, BUT I know so many people who would thrive when using a soothing product like this. My mom would probably adore it!
Awwww such a shame you can use it, it is really lovely, and I love the simple packaging 😊😊😊
Oooo so pretty! I’ve always taken care of my skin and washed it everyday however now I’m more looking i to different products such as serums and lotions. This is a great post! Thank you for sharing!
Love skincare, I find it really fun finding new products to use. This is great to use with a face oil mixed in too, makes a lovely combination 😊
I have very sensitive skin – that’s dry and oily. It sucks! I haven’t had much of a skin care routine which may be why I have some issues now. Also blackheads 🙄
I wonder if this ships to the US?! 😉
Thanks for sharing hon.

That sounds exactly like my skintype, it’s been a struggle to find anything that works right now, my skin is all over the place.
Love the sound of this day cream, I always get a bit weary of what skin cream to use as I do have really sensitive skin but this sounds like it would be great for that. I definitely get really dry skin a lot so might be one to try out. I always get so comfortable with the skin care products I do use though and hardly try out new ones so I would like to be more adventurous with that! Thank you for sharing
