Glow sandwich?! You may be thinking I’ve gone a little crazy (well a bit), but this is a thing & a good one at that. I’ve seen this all over social media ~ mainly within the skincare community and it’s where you simply apply oil ~ moisturiser ~ oil as part of your skincare nightly routine. Basically what it does is lock your in moisturiser overnight in an luxurious oil sandwich, I absolutely love this idea as it creates a barrier between your skin and moisturiser so it can work it’s magic over night.
I just wanted to share with you some products which I have been using the “glow sandwich” method with and how it’s been working for me. I love a good nighttime skincare routine and this definitely is one for us skincare fangirls/boys and I love trying anything new. If I’m honest my skin has never felt so plump and hydrated ~ I highly recommend trying this method out. Oily skinned girls/guys don’t be afraid of the oils, they work well with your skin you just have to pick the right ones.

1st Oil
Oh YAS this Bold & Beauty Rare Elixir is so beautiful, it’s super lightweight and the perfect start to your glow sandwich! It sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it soft and smooth. A multitasking beauty serum with skin enhancing properties that nourish, hydrate and give your complexion a healthy glow. This nourishing, age defying elixir that replenishes skin for hydration and glow.

Moisturiser
I have been loving the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream recently, I can’t stop using it. Yes It is a little on the expensive side and I worry I’m going to use it up too quickly, it’s definitely the most luxurious cream I have used, it definitely deserves it price tag in my opinion, it leaves my skin looking so plump, hydrated and glowy all day.

2nd Oil
The Beuti Sleep Elixir is the absolute dream ending to your glow sandwich, it’s a luxurious, thick oil, which I ideal for overnight use. Fun fact Megan Markle and Kate Middleton use this oil, so if it’s good for them, why not me. The Beauty Sleep Elixir has a natural blend of 14 plant-based oils, including a Caribbean coral extract, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory as it neutralizes the enzyme responsible for skin aging, plus a sandalwood nut kernel oil to help prevent collagen and elastin break down.

There you have it guys, the uptime “glow sandwich” have you tried this trick? Did it work for your skin? Let me know. Also if you have any other little tips and tricks let me know in the comments below.
