Hi Loves & happy weekend.
My hair is always the last thing I worry about, as for the most time I wear it in a ponytail or messy bun for work, and I have to admit I usually just wash my hair and bung it up, I know hair care sacrilege! So I’ve recently started to take more pride in my hair, as I do have a lot of it.
In the past I have dyed my hair all colours of the rainbow, which took its toll on my poor hair and left it very damaged and weak, so I spent the time to grow out all the bleach and I now have completely natural brunette hair (although I do miss the pink and orange days!) so I want to take care of it.

I was kindly sent a face and hair oil by Khadi to try and oh my, these are incredible. Khadi is an Indian haircare company and are completely natural, cruelty free and Vegan 🌱
Khadi produce pure 100% natural herbal hair products based on traditional Ayurvedic formulations. These natural products only use only herbs and natural colours to give your hair natural volume, shine, long lasting colour and strong healty hair.
I have tried their shampoos in the past and they are great. I chose to try the Pink Lotus Body/face oil* Hibiscus Face Oil *and Vitalising Hair Oil*. The oils all come packaged in a classy 100ml glass bottle with a dripper.

To use the Vitalising Hair Oil I apply to unwashed hair in the evening, I then leave it on overnight and wash out in the
shower. It leaves my hair so smooth, and very shines, it’s amazing what this oil can do! I have been using it probably twice weekly and I have noticed my hair is a lot stronger than it used to be.
Thoroughly recommend trying this oil if you have brittle/damaged hair. It also claims to stimulate hair growth, so this would be great for people with thinning hair.
The oil costs £11.90 and you can purchase from Pravera which is amazing as you get so much product and you only need to smallest amount.
Ingredients: Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil (Sesame)**, Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut)**, Ricinus Communis Oil, Eclipta Alba Leaf Extract (Bhringarai), Bacopa Monniera Leaf Extract (Brahmi), Sida Cordifolia Extract (Bala), Butea Monosperma Extract (Palasa), Trigonella Foenum Graecum Seed Extract, Abrus Precatorius, Emblica Officinalis Fruit Extract**, Citrullus Colocynthis Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis Essential Oil (Rosemary)*, Daucus Carota Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Cinnamomum Camphora Extract, Onosma Hispidium Extract, Linalool*, Limonene**part of essential oils** controlled organic cultivation, preserved with Potassium Sorbate

For the face/body oil, I chose the Pink Lotus Body oil and this one seemed the most likely to suit my oily/combination skin, the lotus flower is great at reducing sebum in the skin, so this is ideal for my oily skin. It sounds strange to say applying an oil will help with oiliness, but the Lotus and Ylang Ylang oils actually help to reduce and counteract your own oil production.
This is a beautiful dry oil that you can use on both your body and face, it smells incredible, very floral, so if you are sensitive to smells, maybe avoid, but I love a good floral scent so I love it! It doesn’t leave a greasy feeling like some oils can as it absorbs very quickly into the skin. I like to apply this before my moisturiser in the evening, I wake up and my skin is so smooth and hydrated.
I really rate this oil, especially as it can be used on the body, it’s great value for money, again you will get a glass dripper bottle, as it with the hair oil, you get 100ml for £11.90 from Pravera.
Ingredients: Oryza sativa oil (Ricebran Oil), Sesamum indicum oil (Sesame Oil), Helianthus annuus oil (Sunflower Oil), Nelumbo nucifera (Lotusflower), Rubia cordifolia, Centella asiatica (Tigergras), Ficus benghalensis (Banyan), Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender), Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Cananga odorata (Ylang Ylang), Mimosa pudica (Mimose), Cedrus deodara, Azadirachta indica (Neem), Daucus carota sativa (Carrot)

I have also briefly tried out the Hibiscus Face oil, which is formulated for sensitive skin. I do not have very sensitive skin, I have really been using the Lotus flower oil more often. But i have tried this to get
a sense of how it works and feels on the skin and it is just as lovely as the Lotus oil, it smells beautiful, the scent is defiantly a lot more subtle on this one, as it is for sensitive skin.
The oil has anti ageing properties, and is great for helping with those fine lines. It is rich in Vitamin E, which helps to reduce the appearance or scars and skins elasticity. It contains essential oils to calm and soothe sensitive skin, whilst leaving it soft and smooth.
Again this is available from Pravera for £11.90 for a 100ml dripper bottle.
Ingredients: Oryza sativa oil (Ricebran Oil), Sesamum indicum oil (Sesame Oil), Helianthus annuus oil (Sunflower Oil), Hibiscus rosa sinensis (Hibiscus), Hemidesmus indicus (Sarsaparilla), Vetiveria zizanoides, Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Mimosa pudica (Mimose), Santalum album (Sandalwood), Onosma hispidum, Citrus aurantium (Neroli), Matricaria camomilla (Chamomille), Prunus dulcis (Almond), Triticum vulgare (Wheatgerm Oil), Daucus carota sativa (Carrot)
