Happy bank holiday weekend, which also happens to be payday weekend for me 💰🌞😊
SO…. I decided to treat myself to a little pampering this month, and today I had my hair cut AND eyelash extensions, I very rarely get anything beauty treatment related done….. I haven't had my hair professions my cut for at least 2 years… jeez, yes 2 YEARS!! I have a bit of a fear of going to the hairdressers and it really heightens my anxiety which I find hard to control, but I faced my demons today and had all of 1/2 inch cut 😂🙈😱 Proud of myself…. pat on the back for me.
Anyway, onto the eyelashes…. I was so excited to have these done, I've seen the results from girls at work and Instagram and they look incredible, so thought, why the hell not…. I can totally pull these off right?!
I searched my local Facebook groups and found a lovely lady from Lash You, Mobile Lashes and Beauty who comes to your house to do the treatment, which suits me perfect, as then I am avoiding the salon situations I hate so much.
I wasn't sure what to expect or how it's even done, so I had quite few questions, which were all answered. I was asked what size lashes I wanted and I chose the classic style, which were £30, which is pretty darn reasonable as these are single lash extensions not large clusters of lashes, which you usually get with salons at this price 🙌🏻 they basically look more natural, which is what I wanted (there is also Russian style, which were very thick and not to my style, they were £40).
In all it took just over 1 hour to complete, and was a pleasant experience, kind of relaxing what with keeping my eyes closed for an hour. I was advised that they will have to be infilled in 2-3 weeks time, as when the eyelashes naturally grow, the extensions will drop off with them, and I was quoted £20 for the infills. I honestly cannot imagine my lashes without them now, so I will definitely be getting them done again.
I really love how they have turned out, I was worried they would look fake or feel heavy and they are neither, they just look like a darker, fuller, sexier version of my own lashes! L O V E T H E M – 100% a Lash addict in the making!!!!
