~ POST CONTAINS GIFTED ITEMS ~
So we all know and are aware of cruelty free, organic, chemical free beauty products. But have you ever thought about what you are cleaning your house with & what chemicals are in those cleaning products? No? Well there are a lot, and most of those chemicals are bad for the environment.

I’ve been trying some 100% chemical free household cleaners from Tincture, and I am literally obsessed. I clean everyday. I don’t feel comfortable unless I am in a clean house, we also have a cat too so I’m always aware of what cleaning products we use, as cats are sensitive to a lot!
Last week I was very kindly gifted some household cleaner and washing up liquid from Tincture, I’ve been using them both daily since I’ve received so I thought I wold write a little review in what I thought.
Washing up liquid
I seem to be Forever washing up, and going through washing up liquid like No-ones business, I have used almost every brand there is available at the supermarket, but I wanted to try something more ethical and eco friendly – theres where Tincture comes in. I love the Tincture washing up liquid as you need the smallest amount and it foams up so well! Don’t you hate it when tot have to use so much to get a good foam? Such a waste!
We also use a magic brush for washing up so it think this bottle is going to last forever! The scent is very subtle but natural, not overly fragranced which I love, the liquid is clear and not dyed. Also the bottle design is stunning!
Ingredients
- Aqua (water)
- 5-15% Anionic Surfactants (coconut, corn),
- 5% Non-Ionic Surfactants (sugar),
- Preservative (plant based),
- The TINCTURE blend of 100% natural oils (benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellal, eugenol, limonene, linalool).

All Purpose spray
The Tincture All Purpose spray has the same stunning bottle design as the washing up liquid, which I love. It’s So chic!
The first thing I love about this spray is the ‘sprayer’ it’s very fine and covers a large area in one spray. Secondly the scent is so gorgeous, it’s almost like essentials oils and I am here for it, It leaves our kitchen smelling gorgeous! I use this on our kitchen tops and around the living room, it’s a multi purpose product so can be used anywhere!
Ingredients
- Aqua (water),
- 5% Non-Ionic Surfactants (sugar),
- 5% Amphoteric Surfactants (sweetcorn, coconut),
- Preservative (plant based)
- The TINCTURE blend of 100% natural oils (benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellal, eugenol, limonene, linalool)
Do I recommend?
I really do recommend trying Tincture out if you are looking to start being more ethical in your home. They are not too expensive at all, they are both reasonably priced at £4.99 each, which is amazing as tot get so much product. They are huge bottles!
What do you think of this brand? Have got tried them? Do you use chemical feee household cleaners, let me know in the comments below.
