I have been wanting to try this Figs & Rouge stunner of a primer for so long now and when it turned up in my monthly The Vegan Kind beauty box I was over the moon. I haven’t been excited about a primer for so long, as they are so hit or miss with my oily skin, I really struggle to find a good primer to keep my foundation for sliding off!
I don’t know whether it’s just the beaut rose Gold and pink packaging that draws me in or the amazing 5⭐️ reviews online! Either way I was so excited to try this and I really want it to be my new bae!
Fig & Rouge are a relatively small skincare company in the UK, their products are cruelty free and Vegan and you can buy their range online here. I’ve see they are offering more products in this range and glad to see they are still using the pink & gold packaging,as it’s gorgeous! Figs & Rouge have featured in many beauty boxes over the past few months and I am super happy it turned up in mine.
The primer claims to give a “soft focus” matte finish, which is right up my ally! Also claims to blur pores, which again is much needed! Sounds like the perfect primer right?

The consistency is really thick and feels very hydrating on my skin, almost like a moisturiser. it also leaves my skin feeling Uber smooth and ready for my base. The finish is super matte and my makeup sinks into my skin rather than “sliding” on top. I am hoping this will become my new holy grail primer as I am forever on the hunt for one.

You can pick this up from Feel Unique for £35 for 30ml, which may seem a little steep, I stress that you really do not need to use much product at all, as it is a luxe product so isn’t watery or thin!
